Blooming Stars Back In School

Academic year 2022-23 was a new beginning for all of us in so many different ways, especially the teaching fraternity that made their way back to the school after a long gap of 2 years. Both the mentor and the mentee moved away from virtual classes and were welcomed back with a lot of warmth. Coming back to the school was equally challenging as was going away from school back in 2020 but it was the zeal and the passion of everybody that we adopted very well to this new beginning. We have now close to six months of the academic session and it has been a wonderful journey travelled well by our students, along with them the teachers too.

The offline mode transition from the online mode meant coming back to our offline mode of education, still ensuring that our ways of education are evolved continuously with the changing education pattern. Our pedagogies included a lot more classroom activities to make kids familiar with the concepts; the use of intensive charts, smart board usage, real objects and group activities in the classroom has helped the kids to learn at pace.

Classroom studies have brought back the social interaction factor among the kids which adds to their holistic development and growth. The Montessori activities, like messy play with maida, roll and unroll mat, sponge squeezing added to the learning fun and ensured that kids thoroughly could relish the return to physical schools. We have proven in the last two years that we can adapt quickly to changing needs like virtual classrooms but the conventional way of teaching has its many advantages and will always be difficult to match up to.

We will continue to evolve more with our learning patterns in the second half of the session and ensure that students stay on their learning path with more enjoyable ways of teaching.
