The academic year of 2022-23 was noted with the formation of the students' council. Most schools have an established students' council but why? The students' council is made for the purpose of developing an individual's organisational and leadership skills. It prepares one to develop speaking skills and talk in front of many people. It is significant for an individual to take charge and make decisions for a group of people.

The aim of this is to make students independent. Students can reach out to the captains if there is any doubt or problem, in any case, either academic or not.

The student council plays an active role in many activities and events in our school. During various calendar activities, the leaders help to organise and arrange everything as necessary. The students lead their respective houses in a march on occasions such as Independence Day and Republic Day. The leaders are elected by giving speeches and campaigning in each class. This way, the students of all grades get to vote for the leaders. This reflects democracy within our school.

"A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way."
